I think my warm Mystery Plant is getting a spike! What do you think? It is growing fast, too!

Susan, tho it's a little hard to tell from the photo, I think you're getting new pbulb growth. The spike this guy puts out is very very thin and wiry. Fast growing is great!

Hi Susan,

Your plant looks nice and healthy...and I have to agree with Yvan in that I think it is a new p-bulb rather than a spike. New p-bulbs are great though...they feed spikes when the plants are ready to bloom. Good going!

It looks like my Warm Mystery Orchid has a little spike! Right now it is too tiny to get a good picture.

Yay for the spike!! So how are everyone else's mystery plants doing? Mine (intermediate) is still very busy growing roots. I noticed a nubbin last week and thought it was finally a spike. Not so, it's just another root, the fifth one since getting the plant. Roots are good, but I'd like to see some spikes too!
