Now that I opened my big mouth, I can't even find the original plant. I've got pictures of it, so I know I had it. I think I need to put out an "amber alert", unless that one died and I forgot about it. Maybe it's denial! I will keep looking for it, but it's not looking good.

Default Update:

I contacted the vendor I plan on using for this project on Friday evening. I have not heard back from them yet...they're probably trying to figure out just how insane all of us are!

I'll post again as soon as I get their response

Arrow Okay...

First...our vendor is Andy's Orchids
He and I just spoke for quite some time going through the lists....what a nice guy!

I now know what the Cool grower will be
The one with the most votes isn't available in the quantity we need so we had to work through the list to see which of the five are available in quantity.

I also know which of the two that were tied is our chosen Intermediate chid

When it comes to the warm group, we had a little more of a problem. We worked through the list and came up with one that we can get enough of...but...

Andy asked if he could make some suggestions...to which I, of course, said YES!

My question for all of you is this:
should we take the one already on the list that he has a large quantity of or...

should I take a look at the 5 or 6 selections that he suggested and possibly give him the go-ahead for one that we did not discuss?

It would be a true mystery

I told him I'd get back to him tomorrow so anybody who sees this tonight into tomorrow afternoon should reply with your comments right away.

I say go with a true mystery. and pick one of the 5 or 6. Between You and Andy I have no doubt that it will be great a plant.

I would let him give you some suggestions as long as it fit the requirements that we set prior to starting the project. That way just like you said would be even more of a mystery.
