Depending on where the mystery plant comes from. It will need at least 3 or 4 buddies for each of the mystery plants. I'm going to be participating on the warm and intermediate projects so i will have lots of TCs....LOL

The traveling companion will be a tricky thing, huh? We don't know what we are ordering for our mystery plant, so we may be ordering the same thing as a TC! Yikes!
Also, what if we don't recognize the type of plant it is, how will we know the growing conditions, such as the amount of sun, water, etc? Are we going to get a clue on that when the plant comes?
Oh I am getting very excited for this purchase!
Now this afternoon I was on our lawn and a Fedex truck went by on our road and as it was coming into sight, my heart fluttered a tad.....wanting it to stop here as I'm thinking orchids. Is it just me or does that happen to any of you guys? Fedex trucks, UPS trucks.....I'm starting to get a thing for them.

Must be 'That Chid', you know, the one he is currently lusting after. Hmmm, actually with Roly it is probably a lot more than one.

Kiki I'm thinking that the plant will be able to be grown under conditions for other plants in the category. That's why we did 3 categories.

Well, as far as TCs, check the list of the orchids on the plant list for this project and make sure it isn't one from there ..
or just order hybrids

I see FedEx and UPS and USPS every single day so I need to be controlled because I know when it comes. I get shipments to the store every single day but I can't wait for the Mystery plant and companions shipment...LOL

What am I missing here?
If we get something under warm conditions, the sun and water requirements could still vary greatly, right?
I guess I am just worried that I won't recognize their needs when I look at the plant.
Perhaps I'm overthinking this.
