Sue, you have a huge task ahead to locate, try to get discounts, and make this fun for everyone. You are truly a gem to even want to undertake this task. Thanks so much for all your efforts. You make all the executive decisions you need to make. Just know you are appreciated!!!!!

Thanks to everybody for your confidence in me
I will try my hardest to get the poll up and running by tomorrow morning...it definitely won't be tonight, too busy here preparing for the storm.
I know we're all looking forward to this and I feel terrible about any delays that might happen in the next days...but even I can't do anything about Mother Nature

Sue...Much more important that you and yours, and others in FL are able to weather the storm safe and sound.

I think we'll be okay, the rotation of the storm is favorable for us. A couple of years ago, there was a category 3 storm that exited the state right over us....but we were on the back side of it, and barely got anything! Not even much rain. Rotation is the key for the Tampa Bay.

Jasen, that's a bright note in my day!
I'm hoping that we're doing all this preparing for nothing...but I'm also one of those people who have to be prepared for everything, especially having no prior experience with this type of storm.
If it turns out to be just a major lanai/orchid room spring cleaning in mid-summer, so be it
Jasen, are you seeing any changes in your weather there?

To all the Central and South Florida residents I hope that this upcoming storm won't be such a big deal for us. Let's just hope for lots of rain and not so much wind and that would make the plants happy. Everyone take care of yourself and your families and be safe.

Sue, we have the utmost confidence in you! If things are too expensive or hard to find just take them off the list! It will be more of a surprise when we get the final decision (which is what we all wanted anyway, right?) Everyone tries to stay in their comfort zone when it comes to growing orchids. This is a great opportunity to try something completely new and different. 99% of us will be happy with whatever you choose and 1% will be unhappy with anything, anyway, right?
BTW, did you get my email with my picks? (Not that it matters really because I want to be surprised!)
Well time to go check on Fay again. Everyone stay safe!

Rain I can deal with!
It's the winds that make me nervous
