Thunderstorms! Hah! Just get a whole house generator, a huge battery back-up, and you're good to go! That's what I have.

I think they are worried about lightening strikes not outages. BIG issue here.

YFLHiker you are used to those storms down there, aren't you? I remember visiting family in Pensacola and there was a thunderstorm every afternoon. When we have them here, it means lightning strikes and fires. I used to love to sit on the porch at our old house and drink wine and watch the lightning in the mountains.
