Can't make it Dot. but here are a few questions I have that others should, but might have thought of
What about light levels? How can this be figured in to the mix?
Humidity needs? Is there a need to consider this because of difference between greenhouse people and windowsill people. (well, not people, plants obviously)
Will humidity be an issue? Just because a plant is selected from "warm" or "cool" doesn't mean (to me) that humidity requirements aren't an issue.
Maybe you can start to see my reservations for this type of project. There are too many variables to deal with (as we all know) with growing orchids. In a perfect world, one could say place a set of 5 different orchids on a table, all with the same humidity needs, all the same light needs, all the same watering needs, all the same temperature needs, but different genera - and I'll say "Good luck"! Unless they are closely related hybrids - which I think was ruled out early on.
