Sue, that's the understatement of the year, century, millennia!!
My collection has changed unrecognisably (and exponentially!) since I started participating in OB Projects!!

Our friends posted a link to this place in a different thread.
Brazilian Orchids. Orchids of Brazil
I've been looking through it and I think we should keep them in mind when we're thinking of vendors for the project.
Does anybody have any experience with them?

LOL, you guys are killin me here! So far from the description of this project it really won't be a true mystery. We'll know what all 10 plants are for each category. So Ross, it won't be a total surprise. I do understand your questions about the poll. I personally kinda liked the original idea to just let the vendor pick hot, intermediate, or cool and just let it be whatever it is. Then it really would be a mystery.
Kiki, I'm with you! I have some "Hot" growers that apparently don't know they aren't supposed to like "Intermediate" conditions. They're blooming away completely oblivious.....kinda like me!

I agree, I would like it to be a real surprise! Because if I get to choose I'll just pick another vanda. If someone else picks, I may get something I would never have considered. I'm a gambler at heart.

That's what I thought we were discussing, originally, and that I understand totaly. Let the vendor decide based on warm-intermediate-cool and use several vendors based on geography. How simple! Obviously the group would restrict the selctions based on size, etc. I'm still not getting this vote thing (I'm just old and dense, sorry ). I understand the vote for the guy behind the curtain thing Adam suggested. But we don't have an interview process I have seen so far. Sorry I'm such a fussy person but I need my Grandson to explain this to me .
