Yes, Paphiopedilums are an awesome idea! I have several already and I must say, they are easy to grow for me. Both the warm as intermediate-cool growers.
But I like the idea getting an other species. Or must it be a primary hybrid? Hybrids might be easier to grow, at least for me. I would like to have a challenge.
I know there are some small species, I might look into them. They are cute and beautiful at the same time.
