Project 2021: Phalaenopsis deliciosa Male
Default

Just following up on this project. My phal was quiet for a long time and I slowly started losing my grip on its care as I had been traveling in and out of the country, but right before my last visit, I noticed, not a new root, but a bloom spike! Grown in indoor conditions under 2 T5 lights by a west facing windowsill. I feel like my plant is still quite small compared to what it could be, but the flower ended up being the hookeriana variant. So happy I got this to bloom before I had to part out my collection!

Hope you guys don't mind me posting on an older thread but I have a Phalaenopsis deliciosa that is blooming and isn't the color I was expecting. Is mine the var. hookeriana? I was expecting more of a pink/purple coloring. It's doing pretty well despite me blasting it with too much light and letting it get too dry last year.
