But your plant is actually DOING something! Even if it's keiki paste induced! 😂

I think it's too late for a fall project, even a quickly organized one. Winter is coming and the window for shipping is rapidly closing for many people. But I've already decided that next spring I'm emailing Andy's orchids and asking for suggestions of easy plants that fit the project criteria.

OK, so here's mine.
Like I said, looks happy enough but no hint of a spike as yet.
At some point here this is going to get mounted onto a shingle. It's currently in sphagnum (as it arrived from vendor) and it's not going to be happy in that here long term.

Make the OB 'EU spring fling' during early Keukenhof dates and I'll join in! (24 March – 15 May 2022)

dude, looks great! the characteristic wavy margins are in charge on this one. i know this isn’t a competition, but i would give you (or your vendor ) a cultural award for that alone, which is precisely why im not an orchid judge! anywho, keep up the good growing, and pleeeease post the blooms when they show up, i would guess it’ll flower like crazy when the time comes

Now THAT is what mine is supposed to look like! It evidently loves its environment and your culture KeysGuy. I'm gonna want to see more of this one as it matures please?

So far. Now we'll see what happens that it's made the move from being under lights to being outdoors full time.

small update to anyone till following last years project.

i had thought both of our deliciosas kicked the bucket, but i cleaned out the terrarium over the weekend and what did i discover hidden down low in the back but a deliciosa!! obvs forgotten about and abused for months but....

it grew 3 tiiiiiny leaves in there over the winter and is growing a basil kieki - and 2 spikes starting! totally amazed at how much abuse it took and is still looking alright-ish. i will take a pic this weekend. now moved from mounted (sorta) to normal pot and media. maybe we will see some flowers this summer....
