Just to make sure I understand correctly, once the results of the poll are determined, then everyone can go ahead and begin acquiring their plants and the project officially begins? Or are there more steps for prep?

If we skip directly to the final poll we may have to double check available quantities depending on the winning plant. Most have at least 2 vendors, but if each vendor only has a couple plants, then it's not a good choice for a project plant. I'm guessing we need about a dozen available overall. I guess we could check the favorites while the poll is still running.

We had planned on keeping the poll open until the weekend, though it's currently until the 28th I think. It's looking like the Phal is going to win!
For those already looking around vendors other than the ones listed in the poll, be aware that this species has undergone a name change and can occasionally be found under the old name and various other versions of the names at vendors. So far I've seen it sold as:
Phalaenopsis deliciosa
Kingidium deliciosum
Phalaenopsis decumbens
Kingidium decumbens
