That being said, I'll be growing indoors under lights so I am interested in something that doesn't have funny temperature requirements, fussy humidity requirements, and isn't very big. Looking forward to hearing the verdict! Those 2 vanda Camille mentioned are beautiful, by the way

I think for now we'll keep on brainstorming options and seeing which ones are relatively easy to find and grow so we can add them to (or remove them from) the upcoming poll, and in two weeks or so, when the weather gets warmer for our more northern members, we'll open the poll for one week. By the end of the poll it should be around the end of April, so hopefully the weather will be safe enough to order our plants and start growing! :D (We could probably open the poll a bit sooner if that's the general consensus as well).

Neophyte - I see you removed all of the Capanemai species, but Capanemia superflua (uliginosa) could stay in! It was only the micromera which was a terrarium loving micro mini. :)

I've started looking some of the plants up at various growers.

Ah ok, sounds good – that one is back on the list now. :) I'll do some more searching as to which ones are available as well!

I have more free time than I thought and already ran the list through J&L Orchids, Marlow's and Hausermann's. So no need to check those vendors again! I'll find a way to share what I did.

Are you looking for a certain plant? Or just seeing What's available?

I took the list in the first post of the thread that Neophyte keeps updated, and checked for all the plants at each vendor. I hould keep an eye out for other potential project plants.

Feel free to suggest some orchids yourself! Just needs to be not too big, and can be grown outside of Florida...

Oh also I just reorganized the list in alphabetical order so I think I'll put new suggestions in a different color so we can differentiate which ones we've already searched for online and which ones we haven't. :)

Haha I'm sure whatever we end up picking will thrive in your area regardless! :D

Good idea with the Scaphyglottis! I love that genus. I think Ecuagenera has a few of those...

I know from seeing some older posts that a couple of you have or had one of these but what about a Barkeria?
