Guess we were both typing at the same time, Jerry

Here's my Sedierea, all 5 flowers are now open it looks great. This is the only plant in my collection that is mounted I'm going to pot it up when it's done blooming, I'm thinking of the way Neos are done, hope it works. Jim.

How beeeeutiful!!!! So, are the blooms really fragrant? Do tell! I am running to go sniff my buds ROFLOLOLOL.. .to see if I detect anything at all. Edited to add: Nope, no fragrance for me. . .too early.
I prefer them potted too! Do you have a pot in mind? Maybe something in a bonsai, cascade style. . .lovely to see the blooms hanging down over the edge in clusters.
And of course, I love the Japanese Neof. style! Love the moss mountains!

Jim, for a standard sized Sederia japonica that is well established on a mount, would it be hard to convert it to being planted in a pot? I have one mounted, not the project plant, and I have a hard time balancing keeping it's exposed roots moist and keeping the moss not overly moist! So because of this, I have thought of potting it, but wasn't sure how to go about that without having to use to large of a size of pot due to how the roots have been growing. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Here she is 'Miss Sediria japonica 'Nigoran' in all her splender.
The pot came from Erin pots and the fan was given to me when I purchased my plants from NWO. I put her on a raised pedestal so the bloom can hang down freely.

Marilyn: (speaking into the microphone as the Japanese entries take the red carpet). . .The lovely Ms. Japonica is absolutely stunning in her Erin Pottery, couteur de zen spirito and the New World Orchid fan of cultural appreciation!!!!!!
I give her five, double whammy, high fives!
