Hey there, Becca! Wish I could personally help you out here, but I haven't seen anything more than new roots and leaves myself. Here's the NWO culture page:
Sedirea japonica
Hope it's helpful!

Mine is in high light, hanging beneath my Vandas, and it's growing like crazy.

Excellent, Jim! Way to go! Can't wait to see that in bloom.

Mine is currently not doing anything...I'd like to think after putting out a couple leaves and a bunch of roots, it's gearing up to spike also. We shall just see...

Jim, that is very impressive looking; especially all of those roots. Makes me think the plant is happiest growing mounted. Only 1,000 footcandles, that is very low. Jasen is growing his with Vandas but the difference in plants is that yours is blooming and his isn't. They must prefer the lower light. Mine was in spike when I got it last April from Oak Hill. The plant was very pale green and it is now a dark green like a Phal and it is growing in Cattleya light but not a sign of a spike. So at this point I am totally confused as to what this plant really prefers to get it to bloom. Maybe a little less coddling and a little more neglect such as with-holding fertilizer and giving more light.

I am growing mine in Cattleya lighting as well and they are growing like weeds! Perhaps I will try backing off on the lighting. I had the same problem with a paph and a vendor told me to back off on the lighting so I did just that and next thing I knew I had a spike!
