I've had mine for the same length of time and it looks EXACTLY like it did when I received it.
What are your growing conditions?

Mine aren't project plants (already had them) but are growing great guns as well. One is in clear pot in bark, other is mounted on large cedar slab. Both are working on second leaf of this year as well as lots of roots.

Irphrog, mine is growing verrrrrry slowly, too. I ordered a special pot for it today ($20). I have never done that for any other orchid! Hopefully if it feels pretty it will do something. Right now it is just pitiful .

My first Sedirea (like Ross' - not a project plant as I've had it for almost a year now) is sprouting roots all over the place - last count was 5 new ones - and its started putting out a second leaf before the first new one has finished.
My second Sedirea is nearly ready to open its flowers, but no signs of any new growth - either roots or leaves.
I guess they just really grow in spurts when they grow!

The buds on my project plant blasted but that's okay...we're starting fresh
My original plant has a number of big beautiful new roots coming out!
Now I need to see some spikes, buds, blooms...something!!!

Sue, that's too bad. Is your project plant the one in the Japanese dish with the little bridge? That is so cute! That is what finally inspired me to get busy potting mine. I ordered a pot today. Will it take another year for your plant to bloom? I don't know much about these plants. Since mine didn't have a spike when I got it, could it still get one in the near future? It is BS from Oak Hill and healthy looking with lots of nice roots. Just hasn't grown much (if any).

Yes Susie, that was the one LOL, that's okay, it wouldn't have counted as the project bloom anyway
I don't know much about them either, not sure if they bloom more than once a year

Maybe if I put myself in a new pot I'd feel pretty too....
