Gwen - Daruma Maru is Japanese. My wife if Japanese, maybe if I had one she would better support my hobby. Where did you get yours. I am not in on this project, just wondering. Thanks.

I found mine little Daruma Maru at New World Orchids!
Hey! Just a thought. But I have NWO's new plant list. . .do you think your wife would be willing to translate the Neo. plant names for us? If so, I could email the spreadsheet I am updating. Some of the names refer to places I think. . .like Amani Island and some refer to the color like "Red Emperor" for instance.

Our Marty has set up two albums in the Gallery, both under Project 6...one for the Seds and one for the Neos
Be sure to choose the correct album when posting your pics

OK, mine got here on my lunch break! I was 20 minutes late getting back to work because I HAD to unpack everyone and make sure they were ok. They are very nice and healthy. I may have to leave work early to go play!

I didn't realize NWO had a mini Sedirea. I might have opted for that. Too late, my wife is still wanting to know why this years project plant involves three orchids She asked me if everyone was getting three plants. I responded "No. Some are getting more" Quick save! Since I already have two of the standard forms and since one is in bloom and she would recognize the flower, I opted out of Sedirea.

I agree Ross, nice save! I was asked a similar question by my boyfriend when mine arrived. I quickly changed the subject! Even though I posted my pics in another thread here they are again for others that haven't been following the Neo project.

p.s. please ignore the dead leaf in the background of the center pic. I'm waiting for it to fall off naturally. lol
