Seems to me there was a definite English twist to it.

Partners in crime. . yep, that's us.

*snicker*

But really, I think it's because the Neofinetia is such an awesome orchid with such a rich, AWESOME history and such unsurpassed beauty! They're gorgeous both in and out of bloom!

There are so many varieties to choose from and they're not difficult to grow and they bloom easily. . .of course I think Glenn at New World Orchids had something to do with making that happen.

I think it's just a great project plant to learn how to nuture and grow. . .they're so enjoyable!

I've had and continue to have a marvelous time learning about them. I think we all have!

And of course. . .they then led us straight to Erin Pottery!

It's just been such a fun journey!

Hey! You learn by doing and since you've got TWELVE Neos. . .you're going to have lots of photo opportunities!

I think I've only got about TEN, I've got to get busy and order a few more!

well, I think we could name project as the "Go mad project!"... at the end we have 4 Polls, and a bunch of people who went crazy with these beatifull plants... many of us own now several plants... I have 7 plants and am waiting for 3 more to come, and also have my eyes placed on two more which I plan to get next year...

I never thought I could go that mad with only one species...

and then, we should not forget, it was in this project that we started with the Erin Bonsai madness... I own 17 pots, and Victor is currently making two new pots for two of my Cymbidium (an adaptation of Erin Pots with S/H Pots... let's see how it works - I hope good )

and as already said, I had never had so much fun in an internet forum
