Hi everyone! I tried and tried to be creative with displaying my neo....and I am just coming up empty handed....and of course today is the last day....lol. I don't want to take a picture of it in it's plain black plastic pot it came in....that's not much fun for others to look at ....lol.

Sorry, I had to complain a little to get my creativity gears in motion!

Becca, Anything we can do to help!! If you're photographing against a dark background the pots will belnd in nicely - you can then be creative with the lighting.

Whatever you choose to do, its the beauty of the plant that shines through!

Default I'm lost

Hey Everyone,
I think I'm way to late to start on this project, but was way curious, especially after seeing that it is 47 pages long. No, I haven't read the whole thing, just the first and last pages. I was drawn to the thread because I have a Neof. falcata in my collection.
I am confused as to what it's all about? I didn't see many/any details on the first page, and became lost on the last page where folks are talking about photos...yet I see none posted anywhere, or even a place to look.
Could someone fill me in so that I might be able to join in on another project in the future without being so lost?

Hey David, There will be other project in the future you can participate in I'm. What we do is Everyone in the project gets the same plant and then compare growing habits and conditions. As far as the Neo project photo contest this is the first one. You can enter a picture in the calendar contest if you like.

In a thread that's 47 pages long, I'm not surprised you're a little confused after reading only page 1 and 47
I know what it's all about and I'd be confused if I skipped all that too

You can get lots of info in the forums...scroll down to the member Projects forum and you'll be able to see all (hopefully) of the threads from our previous projects.

There are loads of pictures too...click on Gallery in the left column and look for the special Member Projects section(s).

We'd love to have you join in our next one. We always have a blast putting it together...lots of great times with great folks along the way

Hi David! This thread is actually the second one for the Neo project... it all started off here:

http://www.orchidboard.com/community...oject-2-a.html

That will give you some idea of what we're doing now - submitting our photos for the contest poll - and how we arranged the project.

The main photo contest poll will be open to all OB members - so look for it next week, and vote for your favourite! There will be 4 polls all together - so loads of great photos to look at.

The deadline for project members to submit photos was today, so the photos & polls are planned to be posted late Sunday/early Monday.
