log-in and realized that i have not contributed anything for a while from the header gentle reminder..

well, here is a photograph of a neo. Amami X sib. This plant was acquired this week at the Singapore orchid show at SGF event. Since it is not in bloom, extra bell and whistle ( ie : wood craving ) was added onto the background...

Nice photo, thanks for sharing! Did yours come potted in the LECA or did you move it to this potting medium? Just curious how it seems to be liking it, I am having difficulties (go figure) with the sphagnum moss with my mounted one's!

Hey everyone! Do you have your photos submitted??

Only one more day left!! The deadline for photo entries is August 1.

(That means we're all that much closer to having photos to drool over!!)

Thanks for the response
Hello Becca
Originally, the plant come with moss in a plastic pot.
For the re-pot, I put a layer of LECA at the bottom ,followed by a layer of moss and finally top -up with LECA again yesterday. I hope that the plant like this arranggement. to it!

I've received a number of fantastic photos...what I don't understand is why they are all from just 8 people out of the 44 project participants

I really hope you're not all waiting till the very last minute. Come on folks...

UPDATE:

Well, one big DUH for me! I seem to have a mental block when choosing between our participant lists for project 6 and it's sub-project, the Neo contest!

We have 44 in the big project but only 20 in the Neo project so with 9 entries so far, we're almost at 50% on the next to last day

I just got another one

I'd rather not do the roll call thing this time.

If folks are interested, they're getting updates to this thread and either will or will not participate. I am hoping for a last minute rush to the polls!

Only 8 people so far??? That's a bit of a disappointment. I was looking forwards to lots and lots of pictures! Maybe people are on vacation, or completely forgot about the contest.... I can't wait to see them!! Luckily I have to come to the city a few days next week, so I'll have internet to vote!!
