Dave, I find most all white flowers - especially small ones - are difficult to get just right in photographs. I really struggle with getting the light/exposure just right.

Hopefully Ross will have some tips / suggestions for us!!

I really struggled with getting close enough, at high enough resolution. . .and getting everything in focus.

It's a challenge but I think that's it's fun to try to get it "right".

I think I am going to need a new camera lens. . .for close ups. lolol

I always have a hard time getting a good photo of a "white" chid...I treasure them when I get the perfect shot!

Default Erin Pottery Piece Arrives

This wonderful little pot arrived today from Erin Pottery.
I though you might like to see it before I find something special to plant in it. (I have an idea already).
To give you some perspective, it is 5" high by 3 3/4 " wide by 3" front to back.

It couldn't be more perfect if I had picked it out myself and I particularly like the Art Deco style.

Thanks to everyone for your vote, to Gwen for sharing, to Vic for his generosity, and to all Orchid Board members for their friendship.

Al

Al, That is one beautiful pot! Congratulations! I didn't see it at first, but you are very right, it is definitely an Art Deco style. Can't wait to see what you plant in it - give us a hint?!

I chose to go with Ascofinetia Cherry Blossom for the Erin Pot. I think it looks rather stately!
The rose colored blossoms should compliment the blues and grays of the pot.

Now if the plant will cooperate! It's been outside all summer and doing very well.
