Tour host: take us around and show us where we can buy cheap orchids.

Enabler: that means you teach us to buy more orchids. Get it?

Gwen, that's way too cool!

The one I got from NWO came to me in spike but it hasn't bloomed yet
I did find it is growing a new fan already though

Here's the first one: Gojyo Fukurin (Castle Fukurin) White blooms.

I got this one on 03/28/08, not in spike, so it's been about a month since I received it.

I saw this sort of spikey growth yesterday but though it was a fan. It's growing hard and fast. lol

The other two spikes have both started out like a tiny little sproutling, maybe 1/16".

And here's number two in spike: Suikaden (Imperial Flag). I am expecting white blooms with green tips.

This Neo has really colorful roots. ..they're red! The last couple of weeks, I've been seeing several red root nubbins on the spike side and a long red root on the other side! Really nice variety.

Red nubbins at the base. . .look two growths up to see what I think is a spike.
Backside. . .red root!

That is totally cool Gwen!!!! Those red roots are really cute too! I'm doing a happy dance for you. I can't wait to see what the flowers will look like.

And third and maybe best? Tenkei: White blooms.

Aren't the pinkish white roots pretty?
Note what I think are two spikes?

And a FOURTH Neo in spike: Kirin Maru: Miniature with white blooms.

Note spikey little growth lower right side.
Back side. . .showing white root.

Whatever Dr. Lehr did to set these to spike this spring. . .cool winter or whatever. . .boy, did he do good! I've got to find out what he did! So I can do it next time too.
