Becca, beautiful orchids!

Cheryl, so sorry to hear of the bud blast. How disappointing.

Ok guys, I need help. How in the world do you resize your photos so that they can be posted?

Until, I figure that out, my project photos are posted in the galleries. Sorry they aren't that great...my camera is quite old and I am not exactly a natural when it comes to photography! Hopefully when I have more time, I can find my parents' camera and take better photos.

Becca, Nice plants

Cheryl, I am so sorry...

hhmm... after having seen the Neo. falcata Hisui that some of you have received from NWO I am starting to wonder if I really have a Hisui. My plant looks so different: the leaves are shorter abd thicker, more "bean shaped"

Those leaves are definitely bean shaped. . .and the plant looks exactly like my Neo. falcata 'Suikaden' (Imperial Flag). I am expecting mine to bloom white with green tips on the petals. I'll post a pic ASAP so you can compare. Also I want to go check my spreadsheet for info on the Hisui. Be right back.

Well, according the NWO website and my spreadsheet. . .the Hisui is supposed to have regular shaped green leaves. And bloom green with a white lip. It does not have bean shaped leaves. Maybe there are different varieties of the Hisui, different forms? I sure don't know. . .this is all so new. Maybe ask Alex or Dr. Lehr what they think it is.

It sure will be fun and interesting to see how it blooms out!

Becca, Really cool plants! They're lovely! Thanks for the

Cheryl, Its so sad about the buds blasting! You never know, though, it could just send out another spike to make up for it!!

Ramón, Hmmm... a mystery! I don't have a clue... but maybe there are variations? This is the green flowered one, yes? You are just going to have to bloom it so that we can see if its green!!
