I could've bought another Neo for less!

I am searching for pots at the moment - spent a very enjoyable couple of hours exchanging photos of pots with Gwen! I've got two that are going to be delivered this week that I have earmarked for by existing Neos, and I've got a good lead that I'm going to follow up today for the fancy little Neo pots. (I just gotta have one of those!) I'm in seriously deep as now I can combine two of my loves: orchids and pottery!!
I'v got the have one of those pots too! Aren't they just the 'cat's meow?'

Shannen, you and I certainly do think along the same wavelengths! I searched high and low for a mini Zen Garden but the smallest I could find was a 7 inch square...it would have been too much for a 12 inch square tank.

The Exo-Terra does come in larger sizes, right?

Hubby would kill me!

Could you put sand on top of the stones in the one you have in there?

I was going to wait until they arrived and then post photos of them... but these are the two the will arrive shortly. Certainly not 'traditional'... but they should be interesting!!

Tokoname Bonsai Pot (P54) Bonsai Pots - Bonsai Direct
and
Tokoname Bonsai Pot (P55) Bonsai Pots - Bonsai Direct

The first one was inspired by Sue's original post of her Neo on driftwood... I loved the 'mountain of moss' look, and thought that it would be neat on a flat dish...

The second on is for my first Neo that has very curved downward swept leaves, I thought that curves of the pot would set off the curves of the leaves quite nicely.

I can't wait for them to arrive! It will give me something ot play with while I'm waiting for my project Neo!!

Al, BTW, how did your tests go Friday? I missed the post if you already posted about this....

Snannan, thanks for asking. They went. LOL Now it is the waiting game to see if surgery is possible. Should hear something this week.

Sue, Would the bottom of a plastic sandwich container work? Or some other plastic container, lot's of different sizes at Wally-World. Then could be filled with sand and 'raked' or filled with water with a few drops of blue food coloring.........

Wow what a cool website! I have been wanting to get a Bonsai!

I found a place locally that has some flat dishes as well that I have been eyeballing for the project plant!

Shannen, those are the most awesome bonsai pots!
With looking into accessories for the past few days, I've fallen in love with the concept of bonsai...and mudmen! LOL

Al, my projects are never "complete"...I'm always changing something around and your idea is a good one...ya just never know
