Way to go!! We're rolling right along now! Just got back from another day completely away from the computer doing another presentation, so I'm just catching up on everything!

Big thanks to Gwen for arranging things with New World Orchids for us!!

And loads of thanks to New World Orchids for offering us the discount!!! (Even if, like Niki, it means you order another plant - hey, what's better than one more orchid!?! - Yeah, I know, two more orchids.... )

Now, I just need to see of everyone's plants when they arrive to tide me over until I can get mine!!

I will update the list at the beginning with the name of the plant you want to use as the project plant, so that we can all keep track of who is growing what. For those that ordered more than one Neo, can you let me know which one you are planning to use as your display for the project?

Thanks to everyone who is participating - it wouldn't be nearly as much fun without every one of you!!!

Now that's funny (I don't care who you are!) I just adjusted my to order list to add another Neo! Now i'm up to 5 plants from a hi-end place! Go figure! That's why I have to wait till first of month till check gets deposited. I'm using grocery money for orchids - how sad is that!?

Boy, that's a fact! I plan on going grocery shopping and picking up a week's worth of Saltine crackers.

Here's what I ordered but I always say, "grower's choice". . .so I might not get these exact ones. . .but something similar. Whatever I get, they'll be great and make the meager crumbly fare taste better.

Sedirea japonica 'Daruma Minamru' (mini w/ rounded leaves)
Neo. 'Kirin Maru' (Mini bean leaf, white flowers)
Neo. Suikaden (Green flowers)
Neo. Kisuzume (Yellow flowers w/ White lip)
Neo. Shutenno (Red flowers)

I don't know which plant I'll want to use as my official project plant. I think I am going to have to wait to see what I get. But will let you know!! In fact, you'll probably get emailed pictures along with my begging you to help me pick the nicest, most interesting one!

Gad, I've been bad. . .so very bad.

Grateful Heartfelt Thank you to New World Orchids

I hope they're being inundated with orders today!

That's pretty much what I figured most people will do... once they get their plants, they can decide which one they want to use.... and of course, if anyone is having trouble deciding - all of your friends at OB will be more than happy to help you pick!!

I do hope everyone posts photos of all the plants they get - I just love browsing through photos of different Neos!!

I'll create a thread for Project Updates and once people start getting their deliveries, or picking up their plants at shows, and all the photos can go into that thread so we have everyones photos together.
