Default Maxillaria camaridii
One of this year's acquisition. I've been growing for only about couple of months and suddenly it bloomed.

Really weird looking plant. The big round pseudobulb with two strap-like leaves on top reminds of oncidiums but that long almost monopodial-like growth is sooo out-of-place...I like that!

The flower is very fragrant, even with just a single flower. Too bad the bloom is short-lived...only two days and it is gone.

Default Two more flowers!
Two more flowers.

It happened really quick. The buds suddenly appeared, grew quickly, opened, and after two days they were gone. All happened in just two weeks.

That' s a nice bloom--open wide for a maxillaria. A good acquisition!
