The blooms boss the blooms!
So zygo jumpin jack decided despite being transported from a greenhouse nursery to my orchid room, probably totally different conditions, decided it was his time to shine.
They had the inflorescence staked forever it seems rather then letting it gain strength and removing it so I too the stake out when I got it .. but pressing up against the stick messed up the orientation . Blooms are blooms and next season it will get a better shot. Few buds have opened the ones at the top not yet and a whole other spike is waiting.
