It's funny, I'm just using my Samsung S7 for pics! I do have an entry level SLR camera, but my phone is so much more convenient
It definitely is becoming a space hog but its worth carving out a (large) corner for

Wow, that's a beauty. I'm going to have to go back to not coming to this sight much as it is way to easy to want more and more orchids.

Sorry to hijack your thread but looking to your plant I have one that looks the same. I have been trying to identify it since I got it, 3 years ago. Never bloomed so...I've been thinking it was a xylobium but, without a flower it's difficult.
What do you think?

The conditions I've been giving it are almost the same as yours, except that I use a north window with bright light.

Looks like a healthy plant! I would suggest moving it to higher light, as the leaves seem a bit dark and you mention it has not bloomed. It looks similar, but the bulb shape is a bit different, and the leaves have more substance. The leaves on my plant are papery thin.

So, I'll stay not knowing what this is...

Tha plant is developing quite nice and I won't do any changes until I know what it is. I think the reason for not blooming is that it is still small. When I got it, 3 years ago, as a gift, it was only a backbulb with few roots. Now judging by the size of the new shoot, it will get much bigger.

Thanks for the photos, Dandrobium.

Have your husband tie you to the mast while looking. He can do the page changes.
