Don't forget air circulation or spots are guaranteed.

I've moved your thread to a more appropriate forum, where you had originally posted it wasn't the best place for it.

Zygos are notorious for getting spots quickly, they qbsolutely need good humidity and very good air movement with it in order to avoid problems. I find them challenging to keep healthy!

Agree! I find them difficult to grow properly. Last winter I kep mine inside but it soo got spots and the leaves yellowed and felt (I stil have doubts if this is normal behaviour.
This summer, as an attempt to see how its new growth develops I've put it outside. So far, in spite of temps above 40ºC is some days, it developed nicely, not as big as I was expecting, but without noticeable spots.
Now I'm still deciding if I let it out for the winter near my cymbidiums. Not sure if it can handle drops to near 0ºC together with lots of humidity.

I have had my Zygo for 3 years now. It grows like a weed and I never had brown spots on it till this summer. I put it outside in a little green house with a shade cloth but the leaves did get wet when the sprinklers went on so they got more waters on the leaves than ever before.

I have put it outside in the summer before with no problems but it never got that wet. It is back inside and under lights and has 2 spikes. So It is not too made at me I guess.

I do not think these plants like high humidity they have done great for me I have 2 other types of Zygos. Where I am it is cool and dry. They love it. I let mine dry out from time to time too and I have the craziest roots on this plant.

Zygos have this habit of shedding old leaves. They will brown at the tip then the whole leave will turn yellow than orange and then fall off leaving just the bulb.
