Yes, this one is also a cool grower. All three of the plants I acquired yesterday were all cool growers. But unlike my Furan, they require moisture year round!

Hi Patty! I have a Maxillaria tenuifolia for several years. It started out as a small plant, but it has grown considerably. I repotted it in NZ Sphagnum Moss, a couple of years ago, a third of the plant broke off, potted it into another pot.
I also own a Maxillaria uncata, got it a year ago. It has also flowered this year for me.
Now I have these three. That is the extent of my Maxillaria. At the seminar yesterday, Eric Sauer brought several varieties of Maxillaria. These three were the smallest ones. According to Eric, these three would be considered miniatures or small. Other plants were very large in comparison. Other than the tenuifolia, I'm going to grow them with my Furan space but keep them moist through the winter.
