Default Ianclarkara Cheyenne Marie 'Lemoncello'

(Aganisa x pabstia jugosa x zygopetalum x labiosum)

Temp: Warm to Cool
Light: Partial Shade
Watering: Dry between

I water these kind of orchids as they approach dryness; these orchid plants do not have tolerance to drought, so I make sure they have plenty of water while actively growing. I feed it or fertilize weakly, weekly. But hold the fertilizer in winter.
They'll do much better with 60-70% humidifiers in the winter months yet NY in the warmer months is very humid.
They don't like to be pot bound, so I repot when they start to fill the available space. I use plastic pots. I repot every two years or so with this kind of orchid plant, shortly after blooming. I use a mix of fine fir bark, charcoal, sponge-rock or perlite, and sawdust.

Thank you, neighbor! I accepted advanced studies on a scholarship....so why not? I am not away, I peek in and get involved once in a while but photographs of my blooms were scarce especially last winter....I will try to post more this summer. My orchids are in my school experiments so I have more flowers to come.

(Aganisa x pabstia jugosa x zygopletalum x labiosum) is a kalapana tropicals orchid they grew and named it for their son Ian Clark. the 'ARA' denotes that the plant has up to 4 parents.

Nice flowers and they do smell very sweet like honey dew.

always loved mine till they didnt love me anymore. Its too damn hot in Texas for them beauties.

Thanks for the infos....I went and looked at your specimen of these flowers and I am sorry you don't have the love of these orchid plant anymore ( I protect them from the New York heatwave too)....but you must notice that the glass culture I learned from you is in some of my pictures.

Thanks you for reminding me how nice the flowers are.
heh I see the glass bowls been working well for you and you even got to fit the little plastic pot complete with the moss and the hydroballs. Very impressive .

I still have the love just have the "Grow smarter not harder" I have added to it .
