Default Lycaste Red Jewel

Re-potted my Lycaste Red Jewel today in a basket today! When I was cleaning out the old mess of roots and prior medium I noticed that this plant has one hardy new growth and an other one that looks to just be forming! Not a bad surprise for a Sunday morning!

When it gets to be the size of your staghorn fern you'll really have something. Congrats on the new growth.

The goal is to get it as big as my stag horn! I have another stag horn that's so big it connects two oaks treks 🙄🙄

Hasn't been a week since I repotted and I know it's early but I think it's safe to say the plant is happy! The new growth has really taken off since the great move haha

Could you post pics of your staghorn ferns on the Off Topic forum? Please? Pretty-please?

Ah, the Lycaste. Good growing. Ever notice how many things our orchids do behind our backs?
