I picked this up cheap about six months ago in a garden centre as it had finished flowering. Now produced two spikes. The blooms are really heavily scented (like a hyacinth), it is sometimes quite overpowering.

Beautiful flowers! I have the Zygopetalum Advanced Australia and Zygolum Rheine Moonlight....the Zygopetalum smells like hyacinth and the Zygolum smells like baby talcum powder both very strong in the morning and fades at noon.

I was offered one with a picture of the same plant...it was only a pbulb, now it has leaves and is growing fast.
Probably it will need two years to bloom under my care.

By the way...beautiful flowers and photos too.

Well this time it produced eight spikes and about sixty blooms - the scent is incredible.
