Talking Maxillaria tenufolia X varibilis

I got this a last summer from a society member. Don't know if she didn't want it or couldn't bloom it. It grew 16 new Psb's since in my care, 3 are in flower and 9 more are in spike! I know absolutely nothing on this orchid but apparently it loves it in my greenhouse! Just had to share some pics!

You are right - it loves your care and/or conditions. Nice job.

It's got 4 blooms(on 4 inflorescence) open at the moment and in perfect time since I have my society meeting this sunday! It seems to be a sequential bloomer because one flower passed and another replaced it in a day!

Nice. M. tenuifolia species smell like coconut (or sun tan lotion). Does your hybrid have any scent?

LOL...I was also going to ask about the fragrance!

My tenuifolia smells of coconut (of course) and my variables smells of chocolate...did either of those scents come through on your little beauty?

That's a hybrid I now need to keep an eye out for!
