The more i look at it, it looks like a variabilis species. Guess it could be a hybrid. Hard finding info on the cross, but found the following:

Memoria Ben Berliner (RHS Orchid registry)

Max. Mem. Ben Berliner‘Yellow Cape'BM/JOGA
(variabilis x tenifolia)
This was listed on a site from Japan, but had no photo. fujinursery.com

Interesting! It does look like the variabilis characteristics were dominated in the cross.

The cross carried over a faint smell of chocolate. It almost seems as though the tenufolia has no play in the cross. My tenufolia just started forming spikes so when it blooms I'm going to recross it with tenufolia. Hopefully it will up the percentage of tenufolia and carry over some traits... I was hoping for this cross to smell like both... Chocolate covered coconut!!! MMMMMMM< Now I want a mounds or almond joy!!!
P.S. the plant is tiny too, It's about 6in tall and 8~9in around. Psb's are 1~1 1/4in long with 6~7in leaves!
