Default Light levels for Zygos

Hi, all,
I need some help with my Zygo hybrids. I have a total of four. I have read that they like high light and I have also read they like light shade. I'm confused
Can anyone offer me some advice ?

That would be dappled light - and I think that is just what they need! At least that is what my Z. mackayi gets.

If the leaves are dark green and somehow lush, it's too much shade.

I can't tell you in units, but mine enjoy being at a West facing window, so receive a bit of late sun.

"Bright, indirect" is what I've always recommended.

I'm not sure about this but from what I've read zygos required a similar care to oncidiums.
Mine is developing quickly on a north faced window. It has several white buildings in front of it that reflect the southern light. So, it's not a true north window.

Thank you all for your input. I will have to mull over my options. Right now they are partially under my shelf where they get some light from the t-5s, but they are 3 to 4 feet away. they are growing well, but they are pretty green, so maybe they need to be closer.
