Zygonisia shed leaves?
I have had my Zygonisia since Nov 2014. I even got it to rebloom. It has been doing really well for me. It was growing like a weed. I moved it to a colder room under light after the blooms fell. Few months later I had the Old leaves fall off. I have new growth too. I pulled it out of the pot to check for rot. All I saw were Old roots with lots of new healthy roots. SO it is not a rot problem.
Is it good for these plants to shed leaves?
Any other people on here ever experience this leaf shed on Zygonisia? I might do a video on it. and repot it.

No one?
Oh well. The leaves I lost were from the older bulbs. I might have stressed the plant out a bit and that caused the old leaves to drop. Because I have 3 new growths that are growing well.
I don't think it is normal for leaves to drop but I don't think it is as bad as I thought it was. When I moves the plants I was getting a bit neglected I let it totally dry out.

I've seen Zygos described as "eventually deciduous" and some of the related types can have almost complete leaf loss every year. Certainly stress of any kind may accelerate the process, but as long as the newest growths coming on have healthy leaves I don't think the plant is in any danger, slight set-back at worst.
