Default Maxillaria variables 'yellow form'

This is my cute little yellow form. She is blessing me with several more blooms this time around. Usually I get 1 flower and then have to wait a few months for another single flower to emerge, so I guess she's happy!
I have yet to get a scent on this color variety, which is strange because the red version smells like chocolate to me!

Beautiful. Mine just decided to grow new growths this winter - approx a dozen new veg growths, but no flower so far.

Sorry, just to correct the spelling of the species name - Maxillaria variabilis (just in case others want to look for this orchid).

Thanks for sharing a lovely photo of a lovely bloom!

Hi Jeanne,
I stand corrected on the spelling. Thanks for having my back!
...and Sue and I were just talking today about mis-spelling LOL, seems I'm on a roll...
