Lycaste neophyte question

I have a Lycaste balliea that is about to end blooming. This the only one I have and don't know much about them. It has no foliage just 4 pseudo bulbs sticking up out of the potting with evidence of past blooming by the dried spikes that were snipped off. I got the plant from Lehua Orchids out of Hawaii. It's in a 4 inch pot. My question is do I leave it in the current pot or repot. And is there anything I need to do differently than with any other orchid after it is done blooming. Thanks

The best time to repot lycastes is between flowers and new growth. So does it need repotting? If yes, do it now.

Once it shows new growth, you can increase water and fertilizer. It sounds like it is a deciduous lycaste, which means less water when there are no leaves It will drop its leaves in the fall/winter most likely, so don't be alarmed.

It does not seem crowed in the pot its in now. So am thinking it could go another round of flowering before repotting

You have one deciduous parent and one non-deciduous parent so don't let it stay dry for a long period.

Skinneri is a warm grower and never drops its leaves for very long.

Many of the Hawaii growers use Orchiata bark. If there is room for one more growth, leave it be if the media seems OK.
