Try smelling from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. They follow a bee's daily cycle.

I would guess too that this is a hybrid. I have basically versions of both hybrids that are quite large and hybrids that are on the small side, like my neopabstopetalum. I think as well that it's not so unusual for hybrids to lack fragrance. I have a couple that don't have very pleasant fragrances, one that's lovely, and a couple that don't really smell at all. It seems zygos can be a bit of a mixed bag, then again what hybrids aren't?

Nice plants btw!

Well I smelled it after 9:00am and There was a little smell to it and it did not smell that great.

I like its small size and color so I don't mind the lack of smell. Nothing can compare to the smell my Sherry baby has It's amazing.

You should get Zygopetalum mackayi and see if you like the smell of that instead of the hybrid you have…
