Maxillaria uncata
Maxillaria uncata - this is my very first Maxillaria plant, not sure why I did not get any sooner. It is growing outside at the balcony, bright shade, and misting every 2 days, regular watering and fertilizing. I had no clue about the blooms till I came today in the morning and saw these 2 open, what a surprise. I love the shape and the color, the shape reminds me of Dendrobium blooms. Colors are very festive, like X-mas candy canes :-) Pretty large blooms for the small size plant too.

Many thanks Bud, it seems to like it outside here, it is sending so many new leaves all the time :-) This is first blooming since I got it.
