Bifrenaria vitellina spike?
Default Bifrenaria vitellina spike?

The girlfriend and I just picked this up a couple weekend ago from Carter & Holmes, and since it was so tiny we certainly weren't expecting any spikes, but it sure looks like we got one already!

Just this summer we started branching out from phalaenopsis, so we just wanted to be sure -- os this a spike?

Spike, for sure.

This species is not as large as the other Bifrenarias. I'm not surprised that your plant is blooming sized.

Sweet! That's very exciting. I wonder how fragrant the flowers are.
