update. The pot fell 5 feet to the floor ! Miraculously there was only minor damage to the buds, and all survived.
I really like this one !

How did you grow this plant? I am looking into growing Lycaste this year. It is just simply gorgeous.

basically as much sun as the leaves can take, fertilizer weakly, weekly. Definite rest period when leaves are shed, with watering about once every 2-3 weeks. For a while, as the leaves were dying, it was in a room with an evaporative humidifier, so a lot of air circulation.
I am going to put this outdoors with my catasetums this summer. I will add a top-dressing of dynamite granules, a long-lasting fertilizer.
There is a new growth, growing rapidly. I will repot as soon as the blooms drop.
BTW this looks like a mini, but the leaves are comparatively large.
