Dainty - per OrchidWiz/Bakers - not above 85f, nor below 58f. My aircon is set for 71f in Summer.
You would have to investigate compatibility for the hybrid you like, under your specific conditions.
I have Lycaste seedlings that I grow under the same conditions.

so its growing and blooming season again.
This year it looks as if I have 2 new growths and about 5 blooms on the way.
These are really easy to grow, are compact....when leafless....  and have pretty blooms.
There's growth/buds on both sides - its just you can't see anything on the l/h side of the photo.

Good growing! I've considered these but keep turning away from them (and most other plants requiring a dormant period) but you make it seem easy.  |

I'm leaning more and more towards the dormancy types because they have an in-built desire to grow like crazy and flower within the same year. You can't beat that ! Plus I am finding a lot that have the added bonus of being fragrant.....and a double bonus of being easy to store when dormant.......and then the jackpot of not having to worry about bugs, lighting, humidity and watering when they are dormant.

You make a great case for these and others needing a dormant period. I've just always worried I would screw up during dormancy and ultimately kill them but it would be nice to store some away for the winter.

update. 8 buds. Once these get growing, its fairly rapid. Last year I had buds all open simultaneously. This year there are 2 that are much larger. Be interesting to see what happens. BTW, this is in a horse manure mix - will also see what happens there as the pot is much shallower than the Millenium Magic pot with the same mix.
