Default Maxillaria coccinea
A species not often seen on the forums... or in nurseries! It took me some years to find one, and I am so glad I finally did! Thank you Andy
I just got it in January so I don't take credit for the bloom! It is great to see all those little buds coming out of the sheaths surrounding the newly grown pseudobulbs. They pop up in a matter of hours really! Plenty more to come

Lovely! I got this one at least Year's SEPOS show, though I'm not sure who I got it from, but it wasn't Andy's - maybe Gold Country. I've got lots of new growth, but not blooms yet. Any culture tips to share? I'm growing mine on tree fern slab whose bottom 1/3 is stuck into a pot of pebbles to help keep the humidity up.
