Maxillaria tenuifolia
This was a rescue from last year....on clearance from my local Lowe's. The pseudobulbs were all shriveled and brown. I repotted it in a mix of sphagnum and bark, and it gave me one flower last year...this year it has a ton of buds this is the first one to open. I will take more pics once more of the buds open...I absolutely love the fragrance on this one....reminds me of piņa coladas

I can't get mine to bloom and you take a half dead one and make it sing. So jealous! But happy for you

That is wonderful! It will look and smell heavenly with all those blooms! I have a similar species, sanguinea, and would love to know what the buds look like. I look at mine wonder, is that a bud? Could you also post some bud pictures? Thanks much!

Very nice. They get really bushy. I'm hoping mine will bloom this year, too. It skipped last year. ![Sad](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)
