Cischweinfia sheehanae in bloom
I'm pretty sure this is in the correct grouping. This little guy has been a problem for me for at least a year. How do I get it to bloom? Finally the regime recommended by Ray worked as well as high humidity and high light of the orchidarium.
It is faintly fragrant (very pleasant frangrance.)

I like these Cischweinfia. Yours is so nice and healthy, Ross
Tindo has a fine one also though I think it's a different species. Tin? Did you find a home for that one yet?

A great post with lovely photos. I´ve never seen this species before.
According to the systematics of Schlechter, Cischweinfia (named after Charles A. Schweinfurth) stands in the
Tribus: Oncidieae
Subtribus: Trichopiliinae
Genus: Cischweinfia.
So the next related Genera are Trichopilia (including Neoescobaria), Helcia, Leucohyle, Oliveriana, Systeloglossum, Cochlioda, Solenidium.

This board lists Trichopilia in the Oncidium/Odontoglossum alliance.
