I picked up this guy last year, a simple NOID zygo, it was cheap and I'd never owned one before so I figured what the hey?.
It's ended up as one of my favourites, the scent is just to die for, the flower spike it put out this year was monstrous, and interestingly enough, though I didn't think much of it at the time - all it's blossoms opened on the same day.
In fact, they all fell off within 24 hours of the first one dropping too. Mine's a different cross than yours obviously, but the 'zygo flowers opening all at once' is something I've personally experienced.

I wonder if that trait comes from one specific Zygo species. Thanks for posting megrim!

It could be Advanced Australia. I got one several years ago and it looks much like the flower pictured. It also has a tendency to send up 2 spikes per pbulb. Of course, there is no way to know for sure.
