I love this color combination, when there is little bit of green in other colors on the bloom! And the plant is gorgeous and healthy too!

I like this grex too because it is much more compact than either zygos.
Bud, I am curious as to what you mean by a keiki ? these have pseudobulbs, where does the keiki appear ?

Got this at the Coral Gables show today. It was not labeled too specifically. Do you know this one?

Thanks for the visit!!!!
'keiki' in Hawaiian means baby....so I call every new growth, new bulbs and new rhizomes 'keiki' (I don't know if the new growths coming out beside bulbs are forbidden to be called 'keikis'?)....I know it is always used in new growths in spikes or on the stems of Epidendrums and Dendrobiums; some can also be basal keikis ....if its a baby orchid plant I call it 'keiki' there is no known rules I think

Thanks for the visit !
Zygolum is an artificial hybrid of orchids beween the following genera:
(Zygopetalum Hook. (1827) × Zygosepalum Rchb.f. (1859)
this is quite old hybrids and maybe RHS have renamed it a thousand times that I do not know what it is presently called....you should have asked the name of the orchid or its parents so you have an idea=after all you were among experts in that Coral Gables show(I am sure there was a judge or some expert of some sort in that show)....it doesn't harm you to ask around about an orchid that captures your attention.
*although I think your picture is a Zygopetalum rounded petals and a large velvety purple rounded lip....Zygolums are thin pointed petaled and large oval lip
