Both are very attractive, Dorothy. But the White Night is my preferred!

Sandy - Yes, my marginata did bloom but it has an odd scent - kind of like lemon Pledge with a bit of a kick .. not offensive but a little off from being pleasant.
It's a smaller flower - from about 1/2 the size of the White Knight and Amazing but I love the coloration. Here is another photo of my White Knight head on and of the marginata .. Enjoy

The Sunbow is waiting patiently

Mauro - I love them all but the marginata is my favorite in coloration and the Amazing in fragrance.

I have been eyeballing a Blc. HALEAHI SUNBOW on ebay....I decided to pass up on bidding on it due to temperatures ...okay and well space. I am trying to stick to mini's still, but I couldn't control my self and just purchased two more 'chids and I am worried about the temps. I will keep the Sunbow on my wish list....so those who have one.....pictures pictures pictures!

I know how much you likes these Sue .. but are discouraged due to your high temps. I hope you try one eventually ... How is your little galeandra doing? It so reminds me of a cochleanthes

They look amazing.

This is one of the genera I'm looking for but can't seem to find.

I purchased these on eBay -
The Amazing from orchidtn
The marginata from shermantp
and the White Knight from priyajon
I wouldn't hesitate buying from them again

OK! I went through my favorites and found these sites that sell cochleanthes -
SLO - SLO Orchids Catalog Page
Austin Creek - Austin Creek Orchids - Other Genera Species
Austin Creek Orchids - Other Genera Hybrids
Woodstream - Woodstream Orchids
Tropical Farms - Tropical Orchid Farm Catalog
Clackamas - Clackamas-Orchids Maxillarias
and Ecuagenera has some species - Cochleanthes - Ecuagenera
Also look for the genus Warscewcziella as that is an older taxonomical name ( still used in Europe) and Chondrorhyncha (as I have seen it, at times, used interchangably with Cochleanthes)
I hope this helps
