Default Zygonisia care?

Hi all, I just got a Zygonisia Cynosure 'Blue Water Sailing' and wanted to know if anyone had any dos and don'ts for growing these?

Thanks in advance!

I can only tell you what orchid Wiz says:

Light: Zns. Cynosure is composed of species of which 75% take medium light. Grow this hybrid in dappled light conditions.

Temp: Zns. Cynosure is composed of species of which 75% take warm temperatures, 50% take hot temperatures and 25% take cool temperatures. Grow this hybrid in warm to hot conditions, or 66°F to 85°F at night. It may be tolerant of cool (58°F to 66°F) night temperatures.

Water:40%-70% humidity. Water heavily during growth; Water just as medium starts to dry. Do not water during the winter if plant loses its leaves (deciduous). Commonly grown in pots. Fertilize heavily when actively growing. Common media: fine fir bark, amended with perlite.

It looks gorgeous!

I grow mine with my zygos - only difference to phals is that it is cooler and I mist the roots almost every day. Humidity is also slightly higher because I run a humidifier for part of the day.
They must like it as I have 2 seed pods developing, every pollination I have attempted succeeded which is unusual.
They are all in a south-facing window with 50% shadecloth.

I follow culture from Zygos....I do not give rest periods but continue fertilizer all year round....they bloom 4 times a year....
I do not wet the leaves, it is sensitive and thin easily prone to fungus and mites

I grow my zygo in oncidium light.
Which in vague terms it's about twice as bright as my phal lighting.

You guys should really be following the care for Acacallis cyanea rather than Zygopetalum for Zygonisia.

Zygonisia expresses more traits from Acacallis cyanea than any Zygopetalum I know of.
